Many men enjoy the use of a water/alcohol/perfume-concoction after their morning shave. This aftershave contracts your pores (and any cut that may occur during shaving), and helps the skin regenerate.
You need the following ingredients:
* 59 ml distilled water
* 6 ml alcohol (100% ethanol)
or
* 50 ml distilled water
* 15 ml alcohol (40% ethanol, Common household Vodka can be used.)
* 30 ml hamamelis destilate 2811 228:-/l
(Hamamelis is also known as Witch-hazel.)
* 4 ml glycerol 6502 136:-/l
* 1 g potassium alum 4055 144:-/kg
* 5 drops navras or other essential oils
according to personal preference
Directions:
Dissolve the essential oils in the alcohol. Blend the alum
and glycerol in the distilled water. Mix both together with the hamamelis
destilate and it's ready for bottling.
Antiseptic, contracting and lathery soap for shaving. The addition of olive oil PEG-10 makes the soap smoother.
You need the following ingredients:
* 90 g glycerolsoapbase 4200 93:-/kg Neutral
4204 96:-/kg White
* 25 drops lavender-oil 1062 134:-/30ml
* 10 drops laurel-oil 1061 164:-/30ml
* 10 drops tea tree-oil 1105 95:-/30ml
* 10 drops olibanum-oil 1077 182:-/30ml
(or 55 drops of navras ??)
* 5 ml betaine 4507 95:-/l
* 5 ml Olive oil PEG-10 4502 199:-/kg
* 1 drop color-agent (optional)
Directions:
Melt the soapbase in a double boiler or in a
microwave-oven. Stir in the betaine, olive oil PEG-10, coloring and lastly
the essential oils. Pour into molds and let them solidify.
A smooth and lubricating all-purpose massage oil.
You need the following ingredients:
* 100ml vegitable oil
* 4-5ml navras or other essential oils
according to personal preference
Directions:
Mix it all together and bottle it.
Carrieroil: Grapeseed oil 3050 296:-/l
You need the following essential oils:
* olibanum (frankinsence) 1077 182:-/30ml * eucalyptus 1033 113:-/30ml * ylang-ylang 1112 172:-/30ml * champa ---- ---:-/30ml
Directions: Mix the four essential oils in equal parts.
